    Mieoki Corbett-Jacobs leads Missing Link with both strategic expertise and lived experience. After actively supporting the search for her cousin, Zelig Williams, she witnessed firsthand the gaps families face in moments of crisis. She is committed to building a trusted, centralized resource that provides guidance, coordination, and hope—ensuring no family navigates this journey alone.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Moweaqua, Illinois, Missing Link provides rapid response, education, and ongoing support for families of the missing and exploited—made possible through charitable donations that allow us to offer these services at no cost to those who need them most.

A Message from Tara

With over 25 years of leadership in the nonprofit sector, I have dedicated my life to uplifting communities and driving meaningful change. My journey is deeply rooted in a passion for justice, in bridging the realms of the seen and the unseen, and in the transformative power of connection.

I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming it can be when families are left searching for answers without clear direction or support. That experience shaped my commitment to building something that brings people together when it matters most.

Missing Link was created with that purpose in mind. It exists to ensure that no family has to navigate the journey alone, and to empower them with the right people, information, and resources when needed most.

This work is deeply personal to me. It is rooted in a belief that every situation deserves attention, every voice deserves to be heard, and every family deserves someone in their corner.

Together, we can build a more connected and responsive community for those facing the unimaginable—and help bring resolution and justice.
